A stretch of a busy main route in Northern Westchester is now open after a trailer separated from a truck and hit a retaining wall, police said. Route 6/202 (Goat Trail) between Route 9D and Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt is now open following a crash on Monday afternoon, April 29, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. White Plains Woman Charged With DWI After Swerving Over Double-Yellow Line, Yorktown Police Say A White Plains woman has been charged with DWI after police say she swerved over the double-yellow line while driving on Route 202. Yorktown Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a driver swerve over the double-yellow lines while traveling westbound on Route 202 (Crompond Road) on Monday, Sept. 23 around 12:30 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Kristin Kulage, 44, of White Plains, was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated state, according to police.
