Truck Crashes Into House In Putnam Residents of a home where a tree-service truck slammed into their Patterson smashed were lucky that no one was injured. The incident took place around 11:57 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on Newport Road in the Putnam Lake section, said members of the Putnam Lakes Fire Department. When units arrived on the scene, they found a tree company truck with a chipper had careened into a house when no one was in the truck and it rolled down a hill and into the garage of the home.
