Fatal Crash: Hudson Valley Man Hit, Killed By Pickup Truck, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was hit and killed by a pickup truck while walking along a busy roadway. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 on New Hackensack Road (Route 376), east of Boardman Road in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police, a 2018 Ford F-150, being driven by a 72-year-old Poughkeepsie man, struck a 57-year-old Poughkeepsie man. A Wappingers Falls man was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs after smashing his vehicle into Paula's Public House in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Eric J. Bulinski, 32, was arrested after driving his 2009 Subaru Impreza into the side of the popular pub around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber. A Dutchess County driver got an untimely flat tire while traveling through Poughkeepsie, leading to his arrest for his second DWI, police said. School Bus Hits Utility Pole In Town Of Poughkeepsie
Town of Poughkeepsie police are on the scene of a school bus crash with reported injuries. The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. Wednesday at 2429 New Hackensack Road, Town of Poughkeepsie Police said. Few details were available at this point, including which school the bus served.
