The incident took place on Friday, July 31, when Connie Crowell, age 54, of Monroe, and her passenger and son John Crowell, age 22, both died due to drowning when she drove an SUV into the Housatonic Lake in western New Haven County in the Town of Seymour, on Roosevelt Drive. Kevin, Joey, and Brian Grogan (ages 17-26) lost their mother, Audrey Grogan, and father, George Grogan, during a murder/suicide event that set off a large manhunt in the area of Bear Mountain Reservation. Man Kills Wife, Then Self At Their Hudson Valley Home, Police Say Police are confirming that a man shot and killed his wife and then killed himself in a murder/suicide in the area. The incident took place around 6:24 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, when the Middletown Police Department was notified through Orange County 911 of a potential death investigation at 148 Monhagen Ave., in the City of Middletown, said Middletown Lt. Jeffry R.
