Area Woman Charged In $12.4K ID Theft Case A woman from Pine Plains has been charged after police say she was involved in a case of identity theft totaling $12,400. New York State Police say Maryann Moore-Tompkins, 57, of Pine Plains allegedly stole the identity of a victim between October 2016 and October 2018. Moore-Tompkins stole approximately $12,455, according to police. New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Moore-Tompkins on Wednesday, April 17.
