Man Nabbed For Violating Protective Order In Town Of Poughkeepsie A 27-year-old man was nabbed by police for violating a protective order after being stopped for riding a stolen bike. Marlin A. Baker of Poughkeepsie was charged with felony criminal contempt on Thursday, June 21, after Town of Poughkeepsie Police received a complaint of three individuals riding bikes on Main Street that had been stolen from the caller, said Capt. Kevin Faber. Responding officers located Baker and a woman on two of the bikes when they arrived on scene. The third person had ridden away, Faber said.
