The fire started around 3:29 a.m., Monday, March 2, in Dutchess County at 318 Mill St. and 316 Mill St., in the City of Poughkeepsie, said Fire Chief Mark Johnson. First arriving crews found two floors on fire in the multi-story building with the flames moving upward, the chief said. The call for the fire at the former Cozzy's Place restaurant at 256 Hooker Ave., came in about 2:20 a.m., Tuesday, July 2 said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson. Wall Collapse Closes Area Road Crews are on the scene of a wall collapse that has closed a roadway in the City of Poughkeepsie. The concrete wall collapsed around 6 a.m. Thursday at 123 Cottage St., said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson.  The building, a commercial structure, is used for storage, he said.  No one was injured and building officials are on the scene to determine the safety of the structure, he added. Cottage Street is closed while the road is cleared of debris.
