Amazon To Open Facility In Fairfield County
Amazon is set to open a new distribution center in Fairfield County early next year, potentially creating hundreds of jobs for area residents. The retail giant announced that it will set up shop in Stratford as soon as Jan. 1 next year on Long Beach Boulevard as part of a seven-year pact between the city and company. “We are pleased to be welcoming Amazon to Stratford,” Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick, said. “Stratford is an ideal location for this new distribution center for Amazon.
