Entire Family Killed On Way To Wedding Mourned As Devout Christians, Immigrants
A Massachusetts family traveling to a wedding in South Carolina has been identified among the five people killed in a devastating chain-reaction crash involving a charter bus on Interstate 95 in Virginia.
Providence Christian Academy announced Friday, May 29, that members of the Doncev family died in the crash, which happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 in Stafford County.
Relatives identified the family of four as Dimitri Doncev, 45, and his wife Ecaterina Doncev, 44, along with their two children, Emily, 13, and Mark, 7, all of Greenfield, MA.

Cristhian Eduardo Carvajal Saldana, 31, of White Plains, New York, was checking on his vehicle about a half-mile from Exit 3 around 4:30 a.m. when he was hit, according to Connecticut State Police. A stolen BMW led police on a high-speed chase through Westchester County on Friday afternoon, March 14, before escaping, authorities said.
The pursuit began at around 1:30 p.m., when troopers learned of a stolen black BMW with temporary Maryland plates driving southbound on Interstate 684, according to Trooper Krystal Paolicelli.

Man Caught Driving Drunk With 2 Kids In Westchester, Police Say
A man was charged with DWI under Leandra's Law after he was found driving drunk in Westchester County with a young child and infant in the car, police said.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, around midnight, state police found a vehicle parked on the shoulder of I-95 in Mamaroneck and went to investigate it.
Inside the car, they found the driver, 26-year-old Martin E. Osorio Villatoro of Trenton, New Jersey, intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of over 0.13 percent, state police said.

Storm Watch: Fast-Moving System Brings Rain, Sleet, With Up To Foot Of Snow Farther North
A complex storm is bringing rain to much of the region, with sleet farther inland, and as much as a foot of snow in some spots in upstate New York and northern New England.
The storm, which arrived late Sunday afternoon, Jan. 22, has continued into Monday morning, Jan. 23.
