The shooting took place around 10:44 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, in the area of 120 Hudson Ave Building 4, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Responding officers found the resident shot multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is undergoing surgery, Clark said. Several Displaced Following Apartment Fire Several residents were displaced due to an early morning apartment fire in the City of Poughkeepsie. Firefighters received a call around 6:41 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, for a fire in Apt. 6A on the first floor at the Hudson Garden Apartments at 120 Hudson Ave., said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson. "Our first arriving units encountered a fire that started in the bedroom area," Johnson said. "There were no occupants home, they had already left for the day."
