Police Officers Awarded Medal For Saving Northern Westchester Woman's Life Two police officers have been presented an award for saving the life of a Northern Westchester woman.  Sgt. Michael Ritell and Police Officer Nicholas Mirko of the Westchester County Police Department were given the award for resuscitating a Mount Kisco woman when she suffered a medical emergency, according to an announcement by the police department on Saturday, Nov. 5.  On Nov. 10, 2021, Ritell and Mirko responded to a residence in Mount Kisco on Grove Street when they found the unresponsive woman on a back porch, slumped over and not breathing, according to police.  …

Alert Issued For Missing Northern Westchester Woman Police are asking for help in the search for a missing woman from Northern Westchester.  Alexandra Pierrot, age 49, was last seen on Monday, July 11, leaving a group home in Mount Kisco on Grove Street, police said in an announcement on Wednesday, Oct. 19. "Ms. Pierrot is a missing vulnerable adult," Westchester County Police said in a tweet.  Anyone with information is asked to call 914-864-7700. Stolen Headphones, Alleged $1,200 Theft, Top Mount Kisco Police Blotter A 27-year-old suspect was busted by Westchester County Police officers after allegedly stealing headphones and attempting to flee the area. Staff members at the Rite Aid on South Moger Avenue in Mount Kisco reported a shoplifting incident shortly before 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20. Officers were instructed that a suspect from  Thornwood had taken the headphones, valued at $34.95 and ran out of the store in the direction of the train station.
