Black Bear Spotted Roaming Westchester Neighborhoods: Here's Where A black bear was spotted wandering through parts of Westchester, prompting a safety advisory from police.  According to an announcement from the Mount Pleasant Police Department on Sunday night, July 6, the bear was first seen around 4:20 p.m. on Stanley Street in Pleasantville and then again shortly afterward near Locust Road.
