Blue Moon To Serve Blue Beer At Bars In NY: Here's When, Why A beer known for its name is finally matching its color. Blue Moon will serve a limited-time blue version of Blue Moon Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale, Molson Coors Beverage Company said in a news release. The blue beer will be sold at participating bars nationwide from Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31. The promotion comes ahead of May's blue moon, which can be seen in the sky on May 31.
