A 14-year-old student was arrested and charged with reporting a false shooting incident at a high school in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, May 3 just after 11:30 a.m., when officers responded to Lincoln High School in Yonkers at 375 Kneeland Ave. after receiving an anonymous report of shots fired, according to Yonkers Police. A 17-year-old Hudson Valley teen has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat via social media that caused an area school to be evacuated. The incident took place in Orange County in the city of Newburgh on Monday, May 2, at the Newburgh Free Academy’s North Campus. Officers from the Pound Ridge Police Department and New York State Police troopers from Somers received the report of a robbery and assault at approximately 7:05 a.m. on Friday morning, April 12 at a bus stop on Trinity Pass Road. Teen Charged In Vehicle Break-In
A teen has been arrested and faces numerous charges after an alleged break-in and theft of items from a vehicle in Hyde Park, police say. Hyde Park Police received a call from a Springwood Circle resident on Thursday, Nov. 29 to report that someone had allegedly burglarized his vehicle and taken multiple items. Upon further investigation, officers received a separate complaint from another Springwood Circle resident regarding an apartment that had been broken into during the night.
