Mahopac Man Faces DWI Charge In Bryant Pond Road Stop
An early morning traffic stop on a busy Putnam County road led to the arrest of a Mahopac man who was allegedly drinking and driving. Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Neary was on patrol shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 11, when he was stopped for committing a vehicle and traffic law violation on Bryant Pond Road in Putnam Valley. During the subsequent stop, Neary reported that the driver, 47-year-old Eddie Miranda was found to be allegedly intoxicated.
