Putnam Sheriff Welcomes New Deputy, New Sergeant There’s a new deputy sheriff and new sergeant in town -- actually, in the county -- who will be tasked with keeping Putnam residents safe. Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley, Jr. announced the promotion of a new sergeant and swore in a new deputy who will soon be patrolling local streets. Langley announced that Sgt.
