‘So Grateful’: Student Injured In Deadly I-84 Bus Crash Reunites With Surgeons, Medics Audrina Crocitto doesn’t remember much about the charter bus crash that killed her band director and a retired teacher, and injured dozens of her fellow marching band students. The 15-year-old Farmingdale High School student on Long Island only remembers the initial impact of the bus careening off of I-84 in Orange County, in the town of Wawayanda, before it rolled several times down an embankment Thursday, Sept. 21. Following the crash, Crocitto was airlifted to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where X-rays and MRIs revealed that titanium screws and rods would be needed to hold her spine …

New Update: Four-Alarm Fire Destroys Building With Businesses, Apartments In Area Ten families and four businesses lost everything they owned during a four-alarm fire that swept through a three-story building that included both businesses and apartments. The fire started around 1:09 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Dutchess County at 10 Market Street, said Village of Wappingers Falls Police Lt. P. Capparelli.  The first officers on the scene, Sgt. Ludwig and Officer Farrell found an active fire at the scene when the responded to call reporting smoke, Capparelli said. Four-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Three-Story Building, Causing Road Closures In Area Several roads are closed as firefighters battle a four-alarm blaze in a three-story building with businesses and apartments in the area. The fire began around 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24 in Dutchess County at 10 Market St., in Wappingers Falls, officials said. The building includes 10 apartments and at least three businesses, including Mario's Sandwich Company and TJ's Barbershop, among others. Some 12 to 14 fire departments have responded to the area and flames and smoke can be seen coming from the top and back of the building. Numerous fire departments battle the flames.Eastern Dutc…
