Woman With Suspended License Had BAC Twice Limit In Westchester Stop, Police Say
A Long Island woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk at more than twice the legal limit.
New York State Police stopped Natalia J. Dominguez, 21, of Brentwood, on 1-95 for vehicle and traffic violations around 7:50 p.m., Friday, June 12, in the city of New Rochelle, said Trooper Tara L. McCormick said.
During the stop, troopers found that Dominguez had a suspended license was allegedly intoxicated, McCormick said.
Dominguez was arrested and transported to headquarters in New Rochelle where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .18 percent, said McCormick.

On Friday, June 5, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Andrew C. Pesavento, 32, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Hundreds Face DWI, Speeding, Other Charges In Hudson Valley State Police Memorial Day Crackdown
New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley dished out hundreds of tickets during Memorial Day Weekend to everyone from impaired motorists to speeding drivers.
During the special enforcement campaign, which was held from Friday, May 22 through 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, troopers issued more than 8,900 tickets, including 203 for alleged DWI.
Troopers investigated 457 crashes during the detail, which resulted in injuries to 11 New Yorkers. There were also two fatal crashes during the holiday weekend.

Yorktown Woman Passed Out Behind Wheel Charged With DWI, Police Say
A woman found asleep behind the wheel in the middle of the day at a red light in Westchester was reportedly driving with a blood alcohol level more than double the legal limit, police said.
Officers from the Yorktown Police Department responded to a stretch of Bound Brook Lane at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, police said. Upon arrival, the officers found a woman passed out in the driver’s seat.
According to police, the officers determined that the driver, Yorktown Heights resident Karen Sokolik was under the influence, and she was taken into custody.

The drunk driving charge against a school bus driver in Northern Westchester has led to the Somers Central School District reviewing its transportation policies amid a cacophony of angry cry from concerned members of the community.
