Arlington HS Lockdown Lifted, Parents Can Pick Up Students A lockdown at Arlington High School has been lifted after police gave the "all clear" following the event that was triggered after an automated lockdown alarm was activated. The incident began around 1:40 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, after the alarm went off.  Officers from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and the State Police responded en mass and secured the school before conducting a search.
