Route 100 Closure Extended In Westchester Amid Culvert Work: Here's New Reopening Date The months-long closure of a Route 100 stretch in Northern Westchester will last several weeks longer than expected as crews continue work on a culvert replacement, town officials said.  Somers Town Supervisor Robert Scorrano said Thursday, Jan. 8, that the new culvert on Route 100 over the Muscoot Reservoir has been installed and backfilled, marking a major milestone in the project. House Fire Causes Road Closure In Mahopac (Developing) A house fire has closed a stretch of road to traffic in Putnam County.  Hill Street in Mahopac between Bullethole Road and Hitchcock Hill Road is closed as firefighters battle a house fire in the area, Carmel Police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at around 3:30 p.m.  Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use detours.  More information about the fire has not yet been released.
