Man Accused Of Beating, Kicking, Attempting To Choke Woman During Dispute In Area A 49-year-old area man was arrested for allegedly beating and attempting to choke a woman during a domestic dispute. Shawn P. Cummings, of Saugerties, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 1, after Saugerties Police responded to a report of domestic violence, Chief Joseph Sinagra said.
