Drunk Driver Leads Troopers On Thruway Chase, Intentionally Strikes Cop Cars, Police Say A 29-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading New York State Police troopers on a highway chase before intentionally striking two police vehicles, authorities said. The incident began at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, March 2, when troopers in Greene County attempted to stop Angelo Paradiso, of Palenville, for a traffic violation on the northbound Thruway near Catskill, according to state police. Woman Killed In Head-On Route 9W Crash A 41-year-old woman was killed during a head-on crash when a car veered into her lane of travel. The crash took place in on Route 9W around 6. p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 in the town of Athens in Greene County. According to Capt. Police: Peekskill Man Drove While Impaired By Drugs With Child In Vehicle State Police charged a Northern Westchester man with a felony for driving while impaired by drugs with a 10-year-old child in his backseat.  According to police, 44-year-old Jason K.
