Woman Found Dead Outside Condo Building In NY
Police are investigating after a woman was found dead outside a condominium in Rockland County. The discovery was made on Saturday, Sept. 6, when Clarkstown Police officers responded to 980 Sierra Vista Ln. at the Mountainview Condominiums complex in Valley Cottage for a report of an unresponsive person, according to Clarkstown Police Detective Norm Peters. Officers found an adult woman lying on the ground behind the building. Emergency medical personnel arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene, officials said. Firefighters are battling a multi-alarm blaze at a condominium complex in Westchester. The fire began at the Jefferson Village complex in Yorktown at 112 Village Rd., the Mohegan Fire Department confirmed on Friday, March 28 at around 3 p.m. Numerous departments are at the scene, firefighters said. Fires Go Up At Condo Complex, Home On Same Night In Carmel
Firefighters in a Putnam County town were kept busy with blazes at a condominium complex and residence on the same night. The fires happened in Carmel on Saturday night, Jan. 11, the town's fire department said on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The first occurred at the Kings Grant Condominiums, where a cooking fire began in an appliance. Luckily, crews were able to contain the flames to the appliance and prevent further damage.
