Garrison Man Nabbed On Gun, Weapon Charges A Putnam County man is facing drug and weapons charges after being busted by police investigators with an illegal handgun and cocaine. A member of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Road Patrol Division was tipped off on Oct. 9 to a Garrison resident in the area of Philipstown, who was allegedly in possession of a potentially illegal weapon. Their investigation led them to 48-year-old Route 9 resident Brian Reigniger.
