Man Breaks Into Fishkill Home, Chokes Ex-Girlfriend, Police Say Investigators with the East Fishkill Police Department were able to track down a  man who allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home in Fishkill Plains and assaulted her before fleeing following an early morning dispute. Officers were dispatched to a Route 376 residence at approximately 2 a.m. on March 8, where there were reports of a disturbance involving the homeowner’s ex-boyfriend, who had broken a window to enter the home, police said.
