Family Displaced, Pets Saved, After House Fire Breaks Out In Area A family of four was displaced in Dutchess County when a fire broke out in the basement of a Red Hook home. Firefighters were dispatched to an Aspinwall Road home shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, when a family made an emergency call. Two adults - the children were at school - were able to get out of the house safely with their dogs and a pet snake, Red Hook Fire Company spokesman Jeff Levine said.
