The crash happened at about 8:59 p.m. Saturday, June 27, on the eastbound Exit 6 off-ramp of I-90 in Albany, police said. Driver Airlifted After Serious Crash Near Bank On Route 6 In Hudson Valley A driver was airlifted to the hospital following a serious morning crash on Route 6 in Putnam County.  The crash occurred around 9:42 a.m. on Monday, June 16, in the area of 119 Route 6, where firefighters responded alongside the Carmel Police Department and Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corps, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  First responders arrived to find the driver trapped in the vehicle. 2 Cars Collide At Busy Mahopac Intersection Two vehicles were involved in a collision that blocked traffic at a busy Hudson Valley intersection. The crash happened in Putnam County on Tuesday, Dec. 17 just after 10 a.m., when two cars collided at the intersection of Route 6 and Jonathan Drive in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Following the incident, two people were taken by ambulance to be evaluated for injuries.  More information about the crash was not immediately available.

Injured Hiker Rescued From Park In Northern Westchester First responders were seen rushing to a park in Northern Westchester to help out an injured hiker stranded in the woods.  The rescue happened on Friday, Aug. 24 around 4:15 p.m., when first responders learned a hiker was injured and stuck in the woods at the back of Gedney Park in Chappaqua, according to the Millwood Fire Department.  Arriving crews brought a backboard and stokes to the hiker's location and safely took them out of the woods.  The hiker was later loaded on an awaiting ambulance, the department added.
