Area Man Nabbed For Alleged $20K Medicaid Fraud A 32-year-old Dutchess County man has been arrested for allegedly ripping off more than $20,000 in Medicaid benefits. Ahmad A. Khatib, of Hopewell Junction, was arrested on Thursday, March 21, for welfare fraud stemming from a recent investigation, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
