State Senator Greg Ball (R,I,C, - Patterson) who has represented State Senate District 40 for two terms, said he would be concentrating on that constituency for the foreseeable future.

“I want to make it clear that I am focused on finishing this legislative session and delivering for my current district and not running for Congress," Ball said. "Indeed, while I disagree with the current Congressman on most issues, we have a great working relationship and he and his office are to be applauded, for they have bent over backwards to mutually assist shared constituents.”

Ball said he would make a final decision on whether to run for a third term as his current term draws to an end.
