GARRISON, N.Y. -- Former Peekskill resident and governor George Pataki , a Garrison resident, will decide whether or not he will run for president on May 28, according to politico.com.

Pataki, who served as governor from 1995 to 2006, said the already crowded Republican field in not a major concern of his due to his ability to appeal to voters beyond the party base, politico.com said.
