Peekskill Resident Arrested On Warrant After Auto Accident

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police arrested a 41-year-old resident of Peekskill on a bench warrant issued by the Village of Ossining Court.

The arrest stemmed from a motorist’s report of a property damage auto accident at the intersection of Route 6 and Barger Street on Saturday, May 28, at 3:07 p.m., according to officials.

An officer was dispatched to the scene and conducted a computer check revealing that one of the motorists involved in the accident, identified as Cesar Lojano, was wanted on the bench warrant, police report.

Lojano was arrested at the scene, transported to the Yorktown Police Department and processed, according to officials.

He was then released to the custody of the Village of Ossining police for further processing, officials report.
