PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Peekskill Police are seeking witnesses to an early morning stabbing of a 20-year-old city man on Washington Street.
Police responded to an altercation in the parking lot of Dollar General at 807 Washington St. and found the victim lying on the sidewalk in front of 750 Washington St. The victim, who suffered an apparent stab wound to his back, refused to cooperate with police and was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with injuries not considered life threatening.
A witness to the incident who was with the victim when police arrived also declined to say who committed the crime or exactly where it took place.
