Ronald Pufahl was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after Peekskill Police found a bag containing nearly 100 oxycodone pills in his possession without a prescription.
Police reported stopping Pufahl in his 2003 Dodge Durango for a routine traffic violation on Dec. 10 on Washington Street in Peekskill. A check of Pufahl's license revealed that his driving privileges were suspended and while he was taken into custody, officers noticed the bag of oxycodone pills.
Pufahl was arrested and charged with with third-degree criminal possession and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. He was held pending an arraignment.
