Antoine K. Boyd of Peekskill is charged with felony third-degree marijuana possession, and being held in the Westchester County Jail. He's due back in Cortlandt court on March 7.

State police from Cortlandt were called on Feb. 29 to investigate a two-car collision near Westbrook Drive and East Main Street, police said. Police said he was trying to leave the accident but his car wouldn't work.

Following the accident, in which Boyd's car hit a car driven by a Peekskill woman trying to pull out of a parking lot, witnesses saw him take a bag from his trunk and put it in a nearby garbage container, police said. Troopers found the bag and said it contained more than 10 ounces of marijuana, police said.
