Peekskill Man, 22, Charged With DWI

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A 22-year-old Peekskill man was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, according to state police.

State police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Peekskill's Wilmer E. Arpi at around 3:10 a.m. March 29 following a traffic stop and charged him with DWI.

State police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Wilmer E. Arpi at around 3:10 a.m. Saturday, March 29 following a traffic stop, according to the police. The traffic stop was related to an equipment violation, according to the police. 

Arpi provided a positive breath sample which yielded a blood alcohol content of .12 percent and was issued uniform traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the City of Peekskill Justice Court.
