PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Rosaria Federico of Peekskill died Tuesday, Oct. 14. She was 87.
Federico was born July 5, 1927, in Italy, to Damiano and Marianna Faba DeLuca. After her marriage she moved to Peekskill in 1970. She was a parishioner of the Assumption Church. She worked as a seamstress for Nan-Flower and retired in the mid 1990's.
Federico is survived by her husband, Domenico; daughters, Maria Federico (Giuseppe) of Italy, and Lucia Pascetta (Filippo) of Peekskill; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
