Stubbs was born to Perley Hayes and Inez (Tompkins) Hayes-Depew. She is a retired employee from the Montrose VA Hospital. She was a member of the Peekskill Senior Citizens and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Stubbs is survived by her children, Rev. R. Glenn (Christine) Stubbs, Wayne P. and Kathleen M. Stubbs; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert Glenn Stubbs;brothers, Warner and Stephen Hayes; and sister, Delia VanTil.
Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where at 8 p.m. a service will be offered by her son Glenn. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
