PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Gloria R. Jefferson of Peekskill died July 16. She was 67.
Jefferson was born Nov. 1, 1945, in Hattiesburg, Miss., daughter of Otis and Lottie (nee McQueen) Carter. She worked as a dietitian for the Peekskill City School District until she retired.
Jefferson is survived by her daughter, Michel Jefferson; and three grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Monday, July 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial donations be made in Jefferson's memory to the American Heart Association, 3020 Westchester Ave., Purchase, NY 10577.
