PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Audrey L. Gory of Peekskill died March 10. She was 92.
Gory was born Sept. 19, 1920, in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, to James O. and Roselia Stevens Hodge. She was a licensed daycare worker in Peekskill. For more than 33 years she was a member of the Peekskill Senior Citizens.
Gory is survived by five children, Shahiqa Abdul-Matin, Marsha A, Bailey, Hilda T. Gory-Rodriguez, Alexis Michaels and John S. Gory; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sister Lucia Jack. She was predeceased by, her husband, Titus; son, Olonzo A. Gory.
Calling hours are Friday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
