YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Lakeland Central School District Future Business Leaders of America will be wrapping gifts at the Jefferson Valley Mall this week for donations.
The club did a six-hour session on Friday and will be doing sessions from 6 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a club for young people interested in the world of commerce.
"We're preparing for a future in business," explained club member Mary Golden, a sophomore. "We attend conferences and we compete in things like marketing."
Money raised will go towards funding a conference trip for the club, as well as the Simon Youth Foundation, the Simon Mall' group's charity, which benefits at-risk youth.
