The Good Friday tradition features a costumed cast of 50-75 parishioners and will once again feature Father Vincent Druding as Jesus,
The event, also, known as the Way of the Cross, is practiced especially during Lent as a means of recreating the last hours of Jesus’ walk to Calvary and his crucifixion.
This is the 11th year parishioners have gathered for this devotion which has grown steadily every year. Last year's event drew hundreds of spectators to the park with it's dramatic use of costumes, acting and music. The event makes its way through the park to the different stations and the entire event lasts about an hour.
