Peekskill Resident Allegedly Assaulted in Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Peekskill resident was charged with third-degree assault and served with a temporary order of protection after another Peekskill resident said he had been assaulted by her.

Police charged Ann Marie Hognach, 36, July 2 for allegedly repeatedly punching the man during a domestic incident at Westchester Restorative Nursing Care Center in Mohegan Lake. The victim suffered bruising and swelling under his left eye. Hognach voluntarily appeared at police headquarters and was arrested and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court on July 19.

A Peekskill teenager was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Michael Parchen, 19, was found in possession of marijuana after police responded to a report of vehicles being driven recklessly at Grace Lutheran Church on Gomer Street. Parchen was taken to the Yorktown Police Department and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Yorktown Justice Court August 2.
