Peekskill Man Charged with DWI by State Police

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A city man was arrested last week for driving while intoxicated downtown, according to the New York State Police.

Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jorge A. Zhunio, 33, of Peekskill, for driving while intoxicated on Dec. 10.

Zhunio was arrested for DWI, a misdemeanor, after he was stopped on North Division Street for failing to keep right. An investigation by troopers found that Zhunio was in an intoxicated condition and was found to have a .15 percent blood alcohol concentration.

Zhunio was issued traffic tickets returnable in Cortlandt Town Court on Dec. 19.
