Peekskill Fourth Festivities Start With A Parade At 10 a.m.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — Peekskill's 49th Annual July 4th parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, with participants set to start lining up at 9 a.m. and the parade scheduled to step off at 10 a.m., the Peekskill Fire Department announced.

The parade starts at Washington Street and Sherman Avenue. It then proceeds north on Washington Street to South Street, then east on South Street to Division Street, then south on Division Street to First Street, then west on First Street to Union Avenue and then south on Union Avenue. It finishes at the main entrance of Depew Park. The reviewing stand will be located at Union Avenue and South Street.

Live musicians and food vendors will be on hand at Riverfront Green Park from 1 to 5:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the park.

The rain date, if needed, is Thursday, July 5.
