PEEKSKILL , N.Y. -- City campers ended the summer season Friday with their annual parade through downtown.
Children wore costumes and carried handmade banners celebrating this year's theme, "Games People Play." Costumes included Monopoly money, Mouse Trap mice and Candyland Gingerbread men.
Parents and grandparents lined Division Street to snap photos of their favorite little marchers. The parade started at the high school and made its way down North Division Street to Main Street before heading up to the Crossroads Plaza, where campers and counselors said goodbye until next summer.
