Car Crashes Into Peekskill Stop & Shop

An elderly female motorist who crashed into the front of the building of a Stop & Shop in Northern Westchester may have been suffering a medical emergency, police officials said.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at 1831 Main St. in Peekskill, police said.

The Peekskill building inspector is on the scene to evaluate the situation.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, officials said.
