PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Robert A. Pometti, of Peekskill, died suddenly on April 26. He was 55.
Born in New York City on April 15, 1957, he was the son of Andrew and Ruth Smith Pometti. He formerly lived in the Bronx and West Harrison. Pometti worked as a field technician for Verizon for the past 14 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved the New York Yankees, New York Giants and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Hongach) Pometti; two sisters, Catherine Pometti, of Middletown, N.Y., and Camie Laterza, of LaGrangeville, N.Y.; a brother, Andrew Pometti, of Hartford, Conn.; two stepsons, Jesse and James Strysko; two grandchildren and a nephew.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Coffey Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 8:30.
