PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Joan Maisano, 73, of Peekskill, died April 10.
Maisano was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Bronx, N.Y. to Salvatore and Fanny Caldararo Sortino. On Sept. 6, 1959, she married Crescenzo "Chris" Maisano at Mt. Carmel Church in the Bronx. She worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Chris, of Peekskill; a son, Michael (Deborah) Maisano; a daughter, Karen Maisano, of Peekskill; a sister, Patricia (Dennis) Consolazio, of Anthem, Ariz.; and a step-grandson.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
