He Is Risen: Easter Sunday Services In Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — Below is a list of major demominational churches throughout the city offering Easter Sunday services:

 

  • The Church of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, at 131 Union Ave., will hold Mass in English at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon and in Spanish at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

 

  • Mount Olivet Baptist Church, located at 11 Rev. G. Franklin Wiggins Plaza,   will have three Sunday Masses at 6 a.m., 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

 

  • Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, located at 648 Harrison Ave., will hold a special dawn service at 6 a.m. followed by breakfast, and a regular Sunday service at 11 a.m.

 

  • Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 714 Hudson Ave., holds worship service at 10:30 a.m.

 

  • Peekskill First Baptist Church at 690 Highland Ave. holds Mass at 11 a.m.

 

  • Peekskill Presbyterian Church, located at 705 South St., will hold a Sunday service at 10 a.m.; communion will be served. An Easter egg hunt will follow the service and children's photos with the pastor will be available.

 

  • United Methodist Church of Peekskill, located at 1040 Main St., holds Mass at 11 a.m.
