Thirteen-year-old Brandon Hernandez will be returning for his second consecutive year to sing "America the Beautiful." Other performers include talent from throughout the New York metropolitan area, as well as from Arizona, Florida, and Hawaii. 6-Year-Old Battling Brain Tumors Joins Lourdes Field Hockey Maui Lengyel is only 6 years old, but she is the newest member of the Lourdes Field Hockey program. Maui is battling non-cancerous brain tumors and is undergoing chemotherapy. She has lost permanent vision in her left eye. She joined the team Thursday. Maui's mom, Sue, is an alumnus of Lourdes and works in the health office. Maui joining the team was made possible through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
